Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

    1.In Short

This page explains in plain language how VIEW uses your data. Our Privacy Policy has the full legal detail.

    2.What Data VIEW Handles

    • Your account: email, optional verified phone number, display name, username and photo.
    • What you create: posts, captions, images, videos, stories, comments, likes, saves, follows, Pages, messages and live streams.
    • How you use VIEW: which posts are shown and how you react, used to rank your feeds.
    • Connected accounts: access tokens for platforms you connect for cross-posting.
    • Device data: push notification token, browser and app version, IP address in server logs.

    3.Why It Is Used

To run your account, show your content to the audience you choose, deliver messages and calls, rank your Home, Reels and Explore feeds, send notifications you have enabled, publish to platforms you connect, keep VIEW safe and fix problems. We do not sell your personal data.

    4.Who Can See Your Content

    • Posts, profile name, photo and username: visible to signed-in VIEW users.
    • Posts made as a Page: show only the Page's identity publicly; only Page staff see which team member posted.
    • Stories: visible to the audience you pick when posting; they expire automatically.
    • Messages: visible only to members of the conversation.
    • Live streams: public, followers-only or private, as you choose.

    5.How You Control It

In Settings you can edit your profile, switch off personalised ranking, AI processing, notifications and optional cookies, turn off "Searchable" to hide from search and contact discovery, block people, and disconnect connected accounts.

    6.Third-Party Integrations

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Twitch or Telegram and choose to cross-post, we send that platform only the content you selected to publish. Their own privacy policies then apply to it. You can disconnect at any time in Connected Accounts.

    7.How AI Processing Works

When you use View AI — writing posts, generating images or videos, comment suggestions or AutoPost — your prompt (and the image, where relevant) is sent to our AI providers to produce a result. You can turn AI processing off in Settings → Privacy.

8.Getting a Copy of Your Data

Go to Settings → Data and tap Request my data. We prepare a downloadable file of your account information and content. The link stays valid for 24 hours.

    9.Deleting Your Data

You can delete individual posts at any time. To delete your whole account, visit the Delete Account page. Deletion is scheduled for 30 days so you can change your mind, then your data is permanently removed.

    10.How We Protect It

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by per-row security rules in our database, private videos are served through short-lived signed links, connection tokens are never sent back to the app, and sensitive actions run only on our servers.
