Delete your account
You can permanently delete your VIEW account and personal data yourself, from any device. This page explains exactly what happens — you do not need to be signed in to read it.
How to delete your account
- 1Sign in to your account
- 2Open Settings
- 3Open the Data tab
- 4Tap "Delete account"
- 5Review what will be removed
- 6Confirm your password
- 7Type DELETE and confirm
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account
Removing the app from your device, or clearing your browser data, only removes it from that device. Your account, posts, messages and files stay on our servers until you complete the deletion steps above.
What is deleted
- Your login, email and credentials
- Profile, username and photo
- Posts, media, stories and reels
- Comments, likes, saves and follows
- Messages you sent and your conversations
- Notifications and push tokens
- Settings, consents and AutoPost rules
- Connected social accounts and their tokens
- Pages you solely own and their files
What may be retained
- Payment records required for accounting or anti-fraud
- Minimal audit entries showing a deletion occurred
- Encrypted backups, purged on normal rotation within 90 days
- Content others already re-shared or saved
- Posts already published to connected platforms — remove those on each platform
Timeline and cancellation
Your account is deactivated and signed out immediately. Deletion is then held for 30 days — signing back in during that window cancels it and restores everything. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Download your data first
Request a copy of your information in Settings → Data → Download my data before you delete. Exports are removed along with everything else once deletion completes.
