    1.Introduction

Ceetify Technologies ("we", "us", "our") operates VIEW, a social publishing and cross-posting platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and controls available to you.

By creating an account or using the service you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the service.

    2.Scope of this Policy

This policy covers the VIEW web application, the installable progressive web app, and our native mobile clients, together with the backend services that support them.

It does not cover third-party platforms you choose to connect to your account (for example Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Twitch or Telegram). When you connect those platforms, their own privacy policies govern how they process the content and data we send on your instruction.

    3.Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information generated automatically as you use the service, and information received from third parties you connect.

    4.Information You Provide Directly

    • Account information: email address and password credentials handled by our authentication provider (we never see or store your plaintext password).
    • Profile information: display name, username, profile photo and any biography text you add.
    • Page and business information: page name, username, category, description, website, location and country. Contact email, phone number and business registration details you add to a Page are stored in a restricted record visible only to that Page's staff.
    • Content you create: posts, captions, hashtags, images, videos, stories, comments and reactions.
    • Messages: direct messages and Page inbox conversations you send and receive.
    • Support communications: messages you send us about problems, requests or legal enquiries.

    5.Automatically Collected Information

    • Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, screen characteristics and application version.
    • Log data: IP address, request timestamps, error events and the endpoints your client calls, recorded by our hosting and database infrastructure for security and reliability.
    • Usage and engagement data: which posts were shown to you, opens, clicks, likes, comments, shares, saves, follows, skips, hides, reports and video playback milestones (start, quarter progress, completion, replay) with watch duration. These signals power your feed ranking.
    • Storage identifiers: session tokens and preference values stored in your browser, described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect precise device location.

Contacts (VIEW Lite mobile app only, and only if you grant Contacts permission): the app sends phone numbers from your address book to our servers in batches so we can tell you which of your contacts already use VIEW. Numbers are compared in memory against verified phone numbers on VIEW accounts and are not stored; we keep only a count of how many numbers were checked, for abuse prevention. Only people who have a verified phone number and have "Searchable" turned on in Privacy settings can be found this way, and blocked users are never shown. Finding a contact never creates a follow or friendship.

Phone number: if you sign in or verify your account with a phone number, it is stored with your login credentials and used for sign-in, security and contact discovery. It is never shown on your profile or returned to other users.

Camera and microphone: used only while you are taking a photo or video, on a voice or video call, or going live, and only after you grant browser or device permission. Calls are peer-to-peer; we do not record them.

    6.Cookies and Similar Technologies

VIEW uses browser storage rather than advertising cookies for its core operation. Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in and keeps the app working; optional storage covers preferences and analytics.

Full details, including each category and how to control it, are in the Cookie Policy.

    7.User Content

Content you publish to the public feed, to Pages, or to Explore is visible to other users and, where you request cross-posting, to the third-party platforms you selected. Content posted to private conversations is visible only to the participants of that conversation.

Media files are stored in our object storage. Public post media is served from a public bucket; video uploads are stored privately and delivered through short-lived signed links.

    8.Messages and Communications

Direct messages and Page inbox conversations are stored so they remain available across your devices. They are protected by database access rules so only conversation participants and, for Page inboxes, authorised Page staff can read them.

Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Please do not send highly sensitive information such as full payment card numbers or government identity documents through chat.

    9.How We Use Information

    • To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
    • To operate core features: publishing, feeds, stories, reels, chat, notifications, Pages and search.
    • To deliver posts to the third-party platforms you explicitly select for cross-posting.
    • To rank and personalise what you see, and to suppress content you have hidden, reported, muted or blocked.
    • To keep the service safe: detecting abuse, spam, fraud and security incidents.
    • To provide support and respond to your requests.
    • To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

    10.Personalisation and Recommendations

Your Home, Reels and Explore feeds are ranked server-side using signals such as who you follow, topics you engage with, recency, content quality, watch completion and negative feedback. Ranking happens on our servers; ranking scores are never exposed to clients or to other users.

You can turn personalisation off in Settings → Privacy. With personalisation off we fall back to a chronological feed and stop building interest profiles from your activity.

    11.AI and Automated Processing

The service offers optional AI features: caption and post generation, image generation, video generation and comment suggestions. When you use them, the prompt and the relevant content are sent to our AI providers to produce a result. We log a short prompt preview, the model used, timing and status for reliability and abuse monitoring.

Automated processing also supports feed ranking, AutoPost scheduling and spam detection. These automated decisions do not produce legal effects concerning you. You can disable AI processing of your content in Settings → Privacy, which turns off AI suggestion features for your account.

    12.Advertising and Marketing

We do not currently sell your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising networks inside the app. If we introduce advertising in future we will update this policy and honour your advertising preference in Settings → Cookies before any advertising personalisation applies.

We send marketing emails only where you have opted in. You can withdraw that consent at any time in Settings → Notifications.

    13.Analytics

We measure aggregate product usage to understand which features work and where the product fails. Analytics collection beyond what is strictly necessary for operating and securing the service is governed by your analytics preference in Settings → Cookies.

    14.Third-Party Services

    • Supabase — authentication, database, storage, realtime and serverless functions.
    • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications to your device.
    • AI providers, including Google Gemini and the Lovable AI gateway, for generation features you invoke.
    • Social platforms you connect — Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Twitch, Telegram — to publish content you ask us to cross-post.
    • Payment processors, where you make a payment through the Ceetify ecosystem.

    15.Payment Information

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials. We retain a payment reference, status, amount, currency and the email associated with the transaction so we can reconcile and support it.

    16.Data Sharing

    • Service providers: infrastructure, storage, messaging, AI and payment vendors acting on our instructions.
    • Connected platforms: only the content and metadata needed to complete a cross-post you requested.
    • Other users: your public profile, public posts, Page content and any interactions you make public.
    • Legal requirements: where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, or necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of users, the public or us.
    • Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply to the transferred information.

We do not sell your personal information.

    17.Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active. Engagement events used for ranking are decayed and aggregated over time rather than kept at full detail indefinitely.

When you request account deletion we hold your account for a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel, and then permanently delete or irreversibly anonymise it. Limited records may be retained after deletion where we have a legal obligation, an unresolved dispute, or a documented security and fraud-prevention need — for example transaction records and minimal audit entries that no longer identify you.

    18.Data Security

    • All traffic is served over TLS.
    • Database access is governed by row-level security so records are readable only by the accounts entitled to them.
    • Privileged credentials and third-party secrets are held server-side and are never delivered to browsers or mobile clients.
    • Private media is served only through short-lived signed links.
    • Sensitive actions such as data export and account deletion are validated and executed server-side, never trusted from the client.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any relevant authority as required.

    19.Your Rights and Controls

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability. We make these available to all users regardless of jurisdiction, through the product wherever possible.

    20.Accessing and Exporting Your Data

Settings → Data → "Download my data" prepares a machine-readable export of your profile, posts, comments, likes, saves, follows, messages you sent, settings and Pages you own. The download link is private to you and expires after 24 hours.

    21.Correcting Your Data

You can edit your profile, username, photo and Page details at any time in Settings and on your Page management screens. If something cannot be corrected in the product, contact us and we will correct it where we are able to.

    22.Deleting Your Data

You can delete individual posts, comments, stories and messages at any time. You can delete your entire account from Settings → Data → Delete account, or read the standalone instructions at /account-deletion.

    23.Communication Preferences

Settings → Notifications controls push, email and marketing messages separately. Security and account-critical notices cannot be switched off while your account is active, because they protect your account.

    25.Children's Privacy

VIEW is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@ceetify.online and we will delete the account.

    26.International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers operate data centres in multiple countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where we transfer personal information across borders we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our processors, including contractual protections.

    27.Regional Privacy Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time.

If you are in California, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, delete, correct and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.

If you are in Nigeria, you may have rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act. Requests can be sent to our privacy contact below.

We honour access, correction, export and deletion requests from all users, whether or not a specific law applies to you.

    28.Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The version number and last-updated date at the top of this page always reflect the current revision. For material changes affecting how we use your personal information, we will give notice inside the product before the change takes effect.
